In addition, there are excellent resources available on Campus with many computer Laboratories alongwith Internet access through digital radio and optical fibre therefore, students can log on anywhere at anytime.University has a beautiful Library with more than 35,000 books. The laboratories of University are equipped with state of art equipments and sophisticated paraphernlia necessary for research.The video–Conferencing facility creates strong parternship and linkages with all International and National Universities. BUET, Khuzdar is a distinguished institution with a proud history based on strong faculty team. The close teacher-student interaction supports the effective use of technologies that helps students to get good knowledge concerning to their practicle education. Presently, the total student population of this University
is around 500. BUET, Khuzdar offers bachelors degree in four engineering deciplines Civil, Electrical, Mechanical and Computer Systems and a Mining Engineering Department as well as Department of Social Sciences are bing established very soon. The Management and Faculty of University are making intensive efforts that aim at bringing together leading professors and experienced professionals in the faculty that provides a unique insight in to the world of innovative engineering
With the downfall of the Ghanzinivids , Khuzdar passed to the Ghorid and then to Nasir-ud-din kabacha in 1225 AD khuzdar submitted to sham-ud din altmash.

The rulers of that period seriously implemented the Islamic Laws. Since the Death of Gauhar khan Chief of Jhallawan the area has enjoyed as long period of repose. Khuzdar region was full of kzrezes and lush green cultivation at the times it was a province of Khurasan , Khuzdar was situated on the route for caravans taking merchandise on camel back to the part of makran for expert to Middle East Countries ,the forces of Mohammad Bin Qasim passed through this area gaining access to Sindh through the Moola pass. The Mud fort of Khuzdar was built by the khan Khuda Dad in 1870 during a war with Jams of Lasbela .
In 1903, the British Government appointed a political agent at khuzdar to carry out the administrative affairs of the government, this administrative system continued till the partition of India .Before March 1974 khuzdar was sub division of kalat district khuzdar was awarded the status of district in 15th March, 1974.
The District Headquarter is 302 KM form Quetta it was lies at an elevation of 1249 meters above sea level and is situated on the RCD Highway connecting it to Iran and Karachi a number of mounds if archeological interested have been founded in khuzdar the most important one is Meri Bhar or place Mound, it is believed to seat of the last Mongol Governor. of khuzdar ,Malik Chap was Killed by Khuzdar peoples inhabitants of khuzdar .
